Andy Long
Attorney
Born and raised in Maryville, Andy has always been drawn to East Tennessee, its culture, and its heritage. It was during his years at Rhodes College in Memphis that he realized his calling to the legal profession. After graduation, Andy married his high school sweetheart, Patricia, and they both started law school at the University of Tennessee. He began his practice in a small law firm in Maryville, Tennessee, but soon accepted a position with the Knox County District Attorney's Office, where he became the lead DUI prosecutor.
In 1997, Andy decided that he wanted to get back into private practice. One of the best decisions of his career was joining Costner Greene in Maryville, Tennessee over fifteen years ago. He found a law firm that epitomizes his ideals of the practice of law and one that exceeds its stellar reputation. While dedicating essential time to familiarize himself with his clients, he also manages large cases in Knox County, Blount County, and the surrounding East Tennessee counties.
Whether representing someone suffering from a personal injury or representing someone criminally accused, Andy can use his insight from over twenty-four years of legal experience to help people navigate the troubled times they face. He has concentrated his career on trial work and litigation. He loves the interaction that he gets to have every day with people, whether it is with clients, other attorneys, or with juries. However, over the years, Andy has learned that in order to be an effective advocate, he first has to listen. By truly listening to his clients, he not only learns the details about their case, but he also gets to know the person behind the case. It is then that Andy can most effectively protect their rights and interests and achieve goals together.
